Tibet Tour

Potala Palace Tibet was once one of the most desired places on earth to explore. Adventurists, missionaries and explorers from North America and Europe tried for over 60 years to make it to Tibet, specifically to the Forbidden City of Lhasa. Even though it is easy to reach, Tibet maintains the same mysticism and attraction that it did back then. With the world's highest mountains, large expanses of grasslands, amazing wildlife and one of the most unique cultures on the planet, Tibet offers something for everybody. Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, can easily be reached by air or train. For the more adventurous, there are still many regions on the northern Tibetan Plateau that offer off-the-beaten-path itineraries that go through remote nomadic areas.

TAR 1 132 Tibetan Connections is a travel agency based in the Amdo (ཨ༌མདོ) region of Tibet near the holy mountain of Amnye Machen. We offer tours to all regions of Tibet including Lhasa, Mt. Everest, Amdo and Kham. Our drivers have years of experience driving Tibetan roads. Our guides, all of whom are Tibetan, can give you a better insight into Tibetan culture, language and religion. If you are interested in visiting Tibet, please send us an email at info@tibetanconnections.com. We offer excellent customer service and are some of the most knowledgeable people around regarding Tibet. For more pictures of Tibet, please go here and here.
